Laskar Pelangi the movie

After reading the novel, here comes the movie...

Laskar Pelangi the movie has been the most expected movie recently. At least for me, it is!

Over all the movie was great. Although with a little cut in few parts and add few new things, we still can catch the essence. Maybe for those who didn't read the novel got little bit confuse with the story and the character of each children. My friends for example. They didn't read the book, and they're asking me few questions bout the story. Coz however 2 hours movie couldn't cover the whole story of a novel. So i recommend u to read the novel first.

What i really like bout the movie is that they're using the Belitong's children, so it helps in making the movie feels real. They're so natural, and it's a really good point for me.

What i don't really like bout the movie is that sometimes they're making it bigger than it should have, or in another word, they're dramatizing the movie. I don't really like that, coz for me the story itself already being a great and deep story, without needing more unnecessary spices here and there. Hope they won't do that again in the next movie.

Especially bcoz Sang Pemimpi is my favorite part of the tetralogy.

For you who hasn't watch the movie, i recommend u to watch this movie.

Hope u can be inspired by the movie!!

Me and my MBP

It's just a little story bout the journey through my first Mac.

At the first sight, i went to a computer fair and i really got a heart shot.

The white MacBook is absolutely a perfect notebook, the design is so great until i feel like my heart will be broken if i don't have that. But when i take a look at the price, wow!

It's quite expensive for me. Although the specification is great but i couldn't afford that stuff for now. Unless i rob a bank or something like that.

So i went home broken hearted and keep dreaming bout that white MacBook...

2 years after that, while i'm taking final project for my bachelor degree,

my dream bout that MacBook hit me back.

Maybe bcoz i need a perfect gadget for a perfect result of my final project and the price has got a little bit make sense for me now (my parents will pay it for me).

So, i'm doing some research over the internet in purpose to find a perfect notebook for me.

Who knows? maybe they have a better series now. Or maybe there's a  better one than apple.

And my research shows that apple is still the best in its class.

Some good friends of mine try to convince me not to buy a Mac.

Coz in my hometown, there's still very few of people who use Mac. So, it will be a little bit difficult to have it. U know, like the application, software, games, and something like that.

They try to convince me to buy the sony vaio instead.

Hmm... i'm getting a little bit confuse now.

I know that MacBook has a different operating system from the PC that i used to use.

But, I REALLY LOVE THE DESIGN. 

So i'm doing another research on the internet.

I'm trying to compare between Mac and sony vaio.

I compare every sony vaio series, i read every specification and features, but still each type has its own advantage and disadvantage, one type has this but lack in that, in my conclusion, no type has perfect specifications as apple does.

So, i tell all of my friends, that i'm already sure to buy a Mac. And according to my research, MacBook Pro is the best choice that can fit all of my needs in design.

So i went to a Computer store with happy smile on my face, i'm ready with my decision, i'm ready to buy my fresh new Mac!

But guess what, that Apple authorized reseller has gone out of stock for the type that i was looking for. I was looking for a 2,5GHz MBP, but they just got the 2,4GHz.

Actually it's not a very big deal, only 0,1 different. But, i'm a little bit perfectionist person.

Get what exactly what i want or nothing at all.

So once again i went home broken hearted..

And suddenly a chance come over to me. My mom wants me to go to Jakarta for a medical treatment (i'll explain bout it at in another post). 

I said in my heart ( Aha! why not? it's a very good idea). I can take the treatment and also buy my Mac. Sounds like great!

So, i went to Jakarta with my mom. In Jakarta i did a little research again bout the price of Mac there. Coz u know what? Each apple authorized reseller has different price!

I just find that out. So, i compare the price of each store.

The difference quite surprising to me, coz the difference is varied, sometimes just few hundreds thousand of rupiahs, sometimes it can reach one million rupiahs, wow!

I can buy lots of stuff with that much money!

After find out the cheapest apple authorized reseller, i went there,

N guess what? Youpz, the same case in Makassar, they have gone out of stock for MBP.

I went to the second cheapest, and the same case again. D**N!!

What's wrong with all of those store?

I'm so much depressed now, and i decide that the price difference doesn't matter anymore.

I will take any store that has the MBP stock.

I'm so much desperate of wanting a MacBook Pro.

*sigh*

So, i went to the third cheapest store or i can say, the second most expensive store,

And they said that they have one last stock of 2,5GHz Core2Duo MacBook Pro!

Feels like the MBP has destined to be mine!!!

Horray!!!

I said i'll take it!!

I'm so much happy at the first time i touch my MBP...

Finally a dream come true, after dreaming for this long time, i can have it in my own hand!
